Burn

The night comes, in the end. The light lasts, keeps up and doesn't give up, every day holds out a minute more.
I walk enjoying this gift from this season that goes, I try to breathe.
I work with that bit of humanity that finds growing hard, that reveals its worst and keeps busy at expense of others, that misses empathy and care and even rages against those around them.
How could you avoid being crossed by other people's stories?
How could you avoid blending even marginally with the lives that come close to you every day?
It has been a very difficult week..
As if you catch the cold when very tired: worst than how it really is, only because your defenses are low and don't work properly.
One of those weeks in which it's necessary to remind the good reasons why I have been so stubborn keeping this job.
It's the Friday of my strength, the end of the day of my empathy.
